As a push ensues to test for cancer-causing gene mutations that are common among many Jews, women are facing hard choices about how much they want to know.

Angelina Jolie opened the floodgate of BRCA1 and BRCA2 in the news (early diagnosis of possible breast cancer. A highly debatable subject in Israel, a country with one of the world highest percentage of breast cancer.

What about the social stigma and a rash of unnecessary operations, and also burden some women with information they may not want or know how to use.
